Dream Kitchen: Belle Magazine’s Cocooned Comfort in NAVURBAN Ravenswood

Home Beautiful magazine’s December issue is filled with wonderful ideas for summer entertaining, with a beautiful editorial on the highly anticipated “House to Home Beautiful” (H2HB) reveal.

This “House to Home Beautiful” project has spanned 6 months, with the creative husband and wife team of interior designer/ stylist Aimee Tarulli and Frank Tarulli from Thomas Archer Homes. The couple designed and built this home for themselves, making sure that every detail was catered to their growing family.

By capturing the entire project on a video diary, every decision and aspect of the build is shared as a valuable lesson in designing and building a family home.

NAV was proud to work with this powerhouse team on Home Beautiful’s H2HB project, and the results are stunning.

Working closely with our representative in Victoria, Prue Marchetti, Aimee carefully selected NAVURBAN Balmoral as the premium finish for the custom-made cabinetry throughout the house.

As well as being a resilient material to withstand the day-to-day rigours of a family home, the consistency of timber finish and colour was very important to Aimee. She wanted the same look and feel in every room – it had to be robust, and Aimee valued the considered styling of a quality finish.

NAVURBAN’s game-changing Japanese non-PVC Olefin surface technology with embossed surface allows for an array of consistent textures and effects. This ensured that Aimee would have the same tone and texture throughout the home.

As well being scratch and abrasion resilient, NAVURBAN is also low moisture absorbing meaning that it can be used throughout the home from the kitchen and laundry to the bathroom and study.

The product has also achieved the GreenTagCert™ GreenRate Level B accreditation and is also recyclable in carbon dioxide and water. Aimee was pleased to select a product that was committed to environmentally sustainable practices.

NAVURBAN Balmoral can be seen in the kitchen, study, master suite, and walk-through wardrobe amongst other areas.

Working with quality craftsmen to ensure quality joinery, the cabinetry flows from the kitchen, laundry, office, and bathroom – allowing continuity of modern styling through this home. Aimee loved Navurban Balmoral so much, she even used it to custom build a table for the kitchen.

The bespoke table and finished kitchen in Navurban Balmoral can be seen in this kitchen reveal with Wendy Moore, editor of Home Beautiful:

Navurban Balmoral was also used throughout the laundry and can be seen in this laundry reveal video:

With other lust-haves like a butler’s pantry, skylight in the master en-suite, bespoke pink marble coffee table, and custom-made cabinetry, it’s every interior designer’s dream.

Coupled with state-of-the-art building standards, modern lines, and quality workmanship, this home has the built-for-life detailing and curated, considered styling that will inspire any homeowner for years to come.

Congratulations, Aimee and Frank, on creating a welcoming, modern soulful home that will delight your family for generations.
